Here are yesterday's pictures from the newspaper and magazine articles for my first golf tournament that I coordinated for the Adaptive Ski Program. It was a huge success; I can only thank the volunterrs and the local businesses and sponsors that contributed. I should have a count of how much was raised but it is just another great way to support the ski program.

Les Arc, France
April 4 , 2007

It has been a very interesting season here. Being in Les Arc France is like my second home since one of my sponsors is a chalet business. So it was good to get alot of my stuff that I needed for the other races that I have here in France.

I came in 8th in the FIS World Cup standings this year and now it is the Professional division from here on out.
I look forward to race the pro since this is where you get speeds in excess of over 130 mph. The top speed I have been so far this season is 115 mph on skis. Nothing like my All American record speed which is 154.060 MPH. It snowed today again so I was inside preparing my skis and making any modifications as well as mental meditation.

The link below goes to the Salla Gallery, which were taken from Salla and the Russion Border. In Salla Finland you are only 15 minutes away from the border of Russia. You need a visa to get in the country. But it was worth the trip for fun. I am with Micheal Goumons on the left and Phillip May center both from the Swiss Team. Basically after that sign you are in Russia.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Well I hope everyone who reads this had a great thankful day to both eat a lot and enjoy family. My day was to be part of a huge parade that generated 375,000 spectators!
It was so big that when we got to the finish area it felt like we walked 12 Kilometers. I think it is safe to say that it has been a fast paced career but very fun as well.
Take a look of the replica of me. I am not red but rather green and white. It takes 40 helpers to keep it down and a lot of helium.
Please enjoy the photos and always move forward.

Mescalero, NM Interview
November 8, 2006

My most recent project was this morning against the beautiful majestic landscape of the Inn of the Mountain Gods Casino and Resort.

To view pix of the interview on the shore of Mescalero Lake be sure to visit the Gallery page.

The topic of the interview involved the marketing direction towards achieving a great product.

Visit the Gallery page for a few shots from behind the scene ... which will be aired this week.

Always keep an eye out for news and updates here at my web site.

Ruidoso, NM Aspenfest
October 7, 2006

Another beautiful moment taken at the big Annual Aspenfest Parade in Ruidoso, New Mexico. It's an extensive parade that lasts for hours. It was truly an honor to be on the float and be recognized waving while passing out candy.

You may remember all the candy and little toys you got when watching the floats and listening to the marching bands of yesteryear. "How it would be fun to be young again!"

It was a pleasure to meet with "Princess Hope Little Mescalero!" She is currently running and hopes to someday be crowned as Miss Mescalero in the near future. It's always fun meeting and chatting with goal setters. "Good Luck to her!"

If you like to see more still shots. Check out all the pictures on the Gallery page.

September 21, 2006
Ocean Shores, Washington

I recently flew to Washington to attend a AIANTA (American Indian Alaska Native Tourism Association) conference representing the Inn of the Mountain Gods/Ski Apache while signing autographs.
This particular conference goes all over the nation and each year one tribe/nation will host it so that you will be able to learn the ways of their ancestors. It was a great experience and plenty of laughs as well as food.
I met a lot of fascinating people and came back with a lot of good memories.
Thank you all who attended this conference. I'd especially like to thank the Quinault Indian Nation for their generous welcoming and for enlightening me with their traditional ways.

I will be going on to Texas and Oklahoma to represent and sign autographs. So keep an eye on the diary.

Be sure to visit the gallery for more pictures documenting my travels in Washington.

Mescalero, New Mexico

Well it has been raining everyday to the point of flooding levels.
So what you are seeing is a miracle of blue skies at the INN OF THE MOUNTAIN GODS RESORT AND CASINO in Mescalero, NM.
Today was the day for the Celebrity PRO-AM with a bunch of celebrities. Some of the names you will recognize such as Don Haskins the movie (“Friday Night Lights”) it was based on him and is coaching.
There was also my good friend Greg Foster Former NBA player who is 6 ft 11 in tall.
And finally the Big Break V Hawaii ladies who you see above taking a group shot.
Those of you who do not know what “BIG BREAK” is: It is a reality television show that you see on the Golf Channel on cable. It is a jump start to the LPGA tour as well as the winner getting lots of prizes and money. The Big Break V Hawaii did air February 7th 2006 in the US.
Well all as well ... the celebrity PRO-AM event was cancelled; I will proceed to my next adventures.

I did get to see someone who I have admired and that would be Notah Begay the 3rd and his father the 2nd. I will hope to have a group shot for you all to view.

El Paso, Texas August 26, 2006

Saturday evening was the day of the first pitch for an independent league baseball game and yet another moment in my book of chapters.
This was the Second time that I was honored to throw out the first pitch before the actual game started.
This time I was more confident to throw a good fastball and not worry so much about not making past the plate.
Of course that will always be in your thought process when you release the baseball to the catcher mitt. But I succeeded and got cheers instead of boo’s.

More pictures of this game as well as the last game is currently on my gallery area.

Thursday April 19th 2006

Let's bring you back to the moment during the World Championships at Les Arc 2000 France on April 19th 2006:

Les Arc France was the stage for a very big moment in history for the extreme sport of speed skiing.

“It has been awhile since I last broke my personal best as well as the Native American record which was at 146.694 mph.”

“I had no idea what would come to me next during this attempt to make history.”

I knew that this particular race that has taken 4 days’ to achieve the speed which I am about to announce soon.

The Former North American record was 153.01 MPH (246.240 KPH) held by John Hembel of Aspen Colorado.
Now the Current North American record is 154.06 MPH (247.930 KPH) Held by a History making fool.” ME!”

“When I was at the start of the final run I actually wanted to listen to the spectators and competitors cheer and yell and all the stuff you see in the movies before a great moment becomes priceless.
But when I tried to hear all that, I could not hear a thing but just a whisper of silence.”

My intense focus put me into an out of body experience only making me more perceptive to the speed I hope to achieve.

“I was so focused that I felt that everything around me was slow moving and I could only see a tunnel vision trail in front of me.”

By the time I got close to the end of the run out I could only see a little of the speed display that tells you how fast you have done from the timing building.

“I looked at the display and I could read 24?.???. So I knew I was in the 240 KPH club in which I was happy about. But I also thought I had hit 241. I did not know until I got closer and heard 247.93 KPH New North American Record..”

“To my surprise I become #1 in the United States. I did not feel this accomplishment for over 2 months and even now I do not believe I went that fast”

The power of your mind can really be an amazing tool.
